Carol Thorpe, HTR President & Director

A long time devotee to HTR rescue, Carol now oversees the day-to-day engagements for Happy Tails Rescue. She continues to be highly involved in responding to inquiries for adoption as well as the processing of our new "guests" prior to finding them well suited forever homes.  Carol also is involved in welcoming new foster parents into our program to help us care for our furry friends.

Judy Keep, HTR Director

Judy has been involved with HTR for many years now and we were delighted to have her join the board recently.  Judy works closely with Carol to process adoption applicants, conduct home screenings as well as continuing to actively participate in the typical rescue activities.

Janet Lewis, HTR Director

Janet has been a dedicated foster mom to many of HTR dogs in the past and recently accepted the invitation to join our board of directors. Janet continues to be involved in assisting HTR in its many day to day activities.

Leslie Remenek, HTR Founder

Leslie founded the Happy Tails Rescue effort in Toronto, Canada in 1999 after previously volunteering for various other rescue efforts and causes.  While no longer maintaining a directorship role or involved in the day-to-day activities of the rescue, Leslie remains committed to the rescue's success.
